Frankfurt as a venue for conventions and trade fairs

Frankfurt am Main – it's a small metropolis, manageable in size and pleasant to live in. Nonetheless, it bears all the hallmarks of a world city. It's hip. It's trendy. It's sexy. An exciting mixture of skyscrapers and timber-framed houses, of apple wine and sushi, of business and relaxation. A city imbued with contrasts: tradition and modernity; history and the future. Furthermore, it's unmistakable, with its distinctive skyscraper silhouette reflected impressively on the Main creating an intriguing contrast with such historic buildings as the Römer, Goethehaus, Alte Oper, Paulskirche and Kaiserdom. Almost 800 years of trade fair history find expression today in the internationalism, the openness, and the hospitality of its citizens.
