Panasonic feels at home in Kap Europa

From 15 to 22 February 2017, the Panasonic Convention was held—for the third year running—in Kap Europa. At the event, the latest products of the Japanese manufacturer were presented to international retailers.

"Frankfurt lies at the heart of Europe, so it is very easy to get to for our participants, who come from over 40 different countries. It is the city of short distances—few other European cities are able to match it in that regard," says Petra Lessau of Panasonic Marketing Europe.

"With over 2,000 participants, the Panasonic Convention is one of the larger events held in Kap Europa. It's an enormous pleasure to work with the professional and pleasant team from Panasonic," says Claudia Delius-Fisher, Director of Congress Frankfurt, "and it is a source of no little pride to us that their event should have been held once again in Kap Europe—particularly since ours is the only location in which the event has ever been staged several years in succession."

The geographical location is crucial

"As with all events, it is a matter of wasting as little time as possible. Not only Frankfurt but also Kap Europa play into our hands here: the proximity of the airport, the city centre location, the hotels within walking distance and the spirit of partnership that informs our collaboration all speak eloquently in its favour. Furthermore, the size and infrastructure of Kap Europa make it possible for us to present our products in an appropriate manner as well as meet our objective of organizing a modern and environmentally friendly event in keeping with the times," stresses Petra Lessing, Panasonic Marketing Europe.

A close examination of the event format is vital

The requirements of the Panasonic Convention, which need to be understood and taken into account, are complex. The ability to work together in a spirit of partnership and develop constructive solutions is therefore of enormous importance. "We found the quality of the service provided in Kap Europa—and, indeed, the service package altogether—highly convincing. It is important to us that, rather than simply selling us floor space, our partners devote serious thought to the event format, and that's something the Kap Europa team does. We felt ourselves in really good hands!" reveals Petra Lessau, Panasonic Marketing Europe.
